Axie Infinity Pets
Wait... what?
Originally the Fragmented Spells ecosystem was designed, as mentioned above, with the functionality of delivering rewards external to the ecosystem itself.
Among those rewards was, by design, the possibility of obtaining Axies and being able to participate in that ecosystem.
Over time, that idea was dropped mainly for two reasons:
Avoid misinterpretation by the community that we are trying to use the Axie Infinity brand to promote our project.
Axies have been deeply devalued and are no longer as attractive to some users.
However, one of our internal goals has always been to integrate our ecosystem into the Ronin Network in the future.
Recently, Sky Mavis, creator of Axie Infinity, has started with its Builders program, explaining that any team can start developing content using Axie Infinity's intellectual property, and even mentioning that the more advanced the projects are, the more likely they are to enter the Ronin Network.
For this reason we have decided to retake the original idea of giving Axies as possible prizes within the Fragmented Spells ecosystem, and we have also added InGame functionalities in both Magnaryuz World and Fragmented Arena.
This will allow us to increase our chances of entering Ronin and also generate value for users who already own Axies.
How will it work?
Initially the ways in which your axies can be your pets in Magnaryuz World are as follows:
Defragmentation: Inside the packs you will be able to find Axie fragments. Once the Axie is completed, you will be able to exchange it and you will receive the original Axie in the Ronin Blockchain and also a "copy" of the same Axie in the BSC, but to be used in Magnaryuz World as a pet. Both NFTs will be independent, so you can do with them as you see fit, either use them or sell them separately.
Transfer of ownership: If you currently own Axies, and you want to have them as a pet in Magnaryuz World, you will have to relinquish ownership of them. What does this mean? You will have to give them to the Fragmented Spells ecosystem through the Ronin Network, and we will create the "copy" in the BSC so you can have them as a pet. It should be noted that once you give up ownership of the Axie in the Ronin Network you will not be able to get it back, as it will be "reused" to be given as a prize through the Fragmented Spells ecosystem to other users. In this way we will be generating new use cases for axies and increasing our chances of joining the Ronin Network.
We currently have hundreds of axies, owned by members of the founding team, which will be made available to the Fragmented Spells ecosystem.
